Learning Walks at Skinners Academy Kent

I recently had the pleasure of spending the day at Skinners’ Academy in Kent, working alongside passionate educators and school leaders to dive into assessment practices.

Our day centred around learning walks, which provided a powerful opportunity to observe learning in action, celebrate effective practices, and reflect on areas for growth. These real-time classroom visits sparked meaningful conversations and allowed us to engage in feedback and feedforward, considering inclusive assessment practice responsive to student voice, learning needs, and real-world contexts.
