This is what Autumn Magic in Aspen, Colorado looks and feels like
I’ve just returned from an incredible trip to Aspen, where I had the privilege of working with a passionate team of counsellors and special education teachers to explore how Universal Design for Learning (UDL) can transform their practice and better support all learners.
This group was warm, open, and deeply engaged — it was such a joy to learn and grow together. I’m thrilled to be continuing this journey with them over the coming months and to return next year to support the district-wide implementation of UDL.
A heartfelt thank you to Christopher Elliott Ed.D., Harpreet Mehta, and Tharyn Mulberry for your warmth, generosity, and collaboration - and to Mr Dilip Mehta for the unforgettable tour of Aspen. Visiting during the fall, when the landscape is at its most breathtaking, made this experience even more special.
I left feeling so inspired by the commitment of educators who are truly putting inclusion and learner diversity at the heart of their work.
