What a way to start 2026!
I was absolutely delighted to deliver my first face-to-face UDL workshop of the year in Aarhus, Denmark, hosted by the wonderful team at Aarhus International School (AIS).
A huge thank you to Kathryn Templeman and Robert McCluskey for the invitation and for such a warm welcome. You have an inspiring team of educators with whom it was a pleasure to work alongside. I’m really looking forward to continuing our journey together over the coming months through our online follow-up sessions.
The learning didn’t stop with the workshop either! The journey home turned into a rather dramatic finale, competing with Storm Goretti for control of the skies. With “feels like” temperatures of –11°C on the ground, I was incredibly grateful to witness some impressively efficient, human controlled (what super heroes) robotic de-icing machines in action, meticulously clearing the aircraft wings before take-off. A powerful reminder of how precision, care, and attention to detail - whether in aviation or education - are essential for keeping everyone safe and supported.
Feeling grateful, inspired, and excited for the year ahead.
