What a weekend!

I had the pleasure of facilitating the Cat 1 IB Arts workshop for InThinking in beautiful Paris this weekend.

A true highlight was our field trip to the Musée du quai Branly. The field trip was an amazing opportunity to explore how the MYP Global Contexts can be used as a lens to engage with inspiring works of art and design. During the visit, participants applied the Global Contexts to consider different approaches to developing an MYP unit, drawing inspiration from images, artefacts, and artworks.

The Padlet captures some of these rich explorations and creative connections, showing how thoughtfully participants linked artefacts with conceptual understanding and real-world relevance. The quality of thinking and collaboration demonstrated throughout the activity was exceptional. This group was truly inspiring in their approach - developing innovative, meaningful, and inquiry-driven units that reflect the very best of MYP teaching and learning.

A huge thank you to you all, for your energy, openness, and creativity throughout the workshop - and to InThinking, Karin Wakeham, Shane Tastad for their ongoing commitment to professional learning that truly makes a difference. Sending you

much love 💖
