What an amazing week in Mumbai!

I’ve just returned from Oberoi International School, where I had the privilege of facilitating three days of energising professional development with a wonderful group of councillors and specialist educators.

Over the first two days, we explored Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) - examining how inclusive design, wellbeing, and student agency come together to transform learning environments.

On Day 3, I partnered with the senior leadership team to develop a SEL framework aligned with the school’s ethos and long-term vision. Their depth of reflection and commitment to holistic education was truly inspiring.

A special thank you to Veena DSilva for the opportunity to collaborate with such a prestigious organisation, for the warmth of her welcome, her thoughtful leadership and attention to detail throughout the week. Veena, you are a superstar!

On a personal note, it was such a joy to be back in India so soon after my 4 week summer PD tour. working with educators here consistently brings a deep feeling of connection and purpose – Thankyou team OIS, you were amazing! I’m excited to see how our work together continues.
