In this session, I will use a backwards design mindset to translate the updates into concrete planning choices and help you refine current units so they are classroom ready well before 2027.

We’ll cover how to:

use big ideas to drive unit purpose and coherence (component 1)

make learning more relevant through real contexts and questions (component 2)

map an explicit ATL skills progression across years and subjects (component 3)

design community engagement that meaningfully extends action (component 4)
